Printmaking workshops
I am a fully qualified teacher with over twenty years of experience teaching in schools, colleges and universities.
In Hastings, I run individual printmaking workshops and also deliver short courses covering a range of printmaking methods and techniques upon request.
I have a current CRB check and full public liability insurance.
About the workshops
Venue: Claremont Studios,12 Claremont, Hastings TN34 1HA. The workshops are held in the Pine Gallery.
Fees: from £25 per person - including all materials, handouts, tea and biscuits!

The printmaking workshops are suitable for all levels of ability including absolute beginners. However experienced artists can also discover new techniques, materials and interesting methods of working.
Patience, humour and confidence building are key elements for an enjoyable learning experience and productive outcome.
Places are limited to a maximum of 10 students to ensure the individual attention and support required for success
I also have a portable press and printmaking workshops and courses can be hosted in a variety of venues. They can be adapted to meet the specific needs of groups of any age, ability or background.
No dangerous chemicals are used on any of the workshops.
Printmaking methods
Each workshop covers one printmaking technique in some depth.
You will be guided through the various stages of the printing process; learning new techniques and methods of working using the press.
Expect to take away a number of limited edition prints at the end of each class.
