Fiona Pienkowska is fascinated by the city, in particular London. Scenes from everyday life are recreated based on observations of people. She documents institutions such as the local café, pub and ‘pie and mash’ shop and places of public recreation like the fairground. She aims to record the detailed fabric of ordinary life which is forever changing and renewing itself.
