About Fiona Pienkowska

I grew up in Coventry and studied on a foundation course at Coventry University. I went on to study Fine Art painting for my degree in North Staffordshire. It was only when I did my MA at Central Saint Martins that I started printmaking and experienced the simple pleasure of reproducing an image. I now live and work in South London.

My work has been inspired by artists from Hogarth to Edward Burra and the German expressionists amongst others who have worked in the figurative, narrative tradition.
